Official requirement (canada.ca): the photo must not be altered in any way — colour/brightness/contrast/sharpness edits, background changes and AI tools are listed as "altered"; background must be plain white/light; no facial shadows.

• We do: compliant background → zero pixel manipulation (geometric crop only). Fixable photo → white background + light brightness/contrast normalization — both stated on the result page. Facial features and skin tone are never altered.
• We never do: AI face editing, feature changes, heavy shadow repair, or "guaranteed acceptance" claims.
• We reject (no charge) when: obvious facial shadows, complex/patterned background, person blends into background, blur/dark/low contrast — with the official rule and a retake fix shown on the result page.

• Paper applications (new passports, children, in-person): officials require a commercial photographer plus studio info on the back — we deliver digital only. Use Walmart / Shoppers Drug Mart / London Drugs in-store photo (~C$15-25).
• Online renewal: the portal asks for studio/photographer name, address and date — fill it truthfully.

Official rule (gov.uk): the digital photo must not be altered by computer software and must be taken against a plain light-coloured background (no shadows). We do not replace the background for UK visas — if yours isn't a compliant plain light-coloured background, we reject it (no charge) with the official rule and a retake fix. Shoot against a plain light wall in even lighting, no shadows.
